When we decided to open JoyRideGraphics.com we had to understand to a simple reality. On opening day, you have to cover the basics. Sure…everyone would have loved to open with all of our ideas laid out at once, but from a business standpoint…that doesn’t work.
You see…you have to cover the good old standards. Straight forward designs that aren’t too off the wall. And we have accomplished that with a good bit of originality through our Classic and Abstract designs. The other business and social media decision was simple. It is better to start showing a growing number of your coolest designs after you already have an audience. And so we begin. Introducing the first of many new designs coming from JoyRideGraphics.com.
This boat graphic is titled Skull Tan for obvious reasons. A barb wired skull centers the graphic with a modern, grunge arch filled with stacked skulls. Keep an eye on our upcoming designs and categories as we have a lot to show you.
This one is a classic! Good ole, crazy Mel Gibson in his role as Mad Max and a great and gritty car chase. For those who haven’t seen Road Warrior…be sure to see Mad Max first. A great movie with a super charged car at the end.
As we are down to about five days before the Grand Opening of JoyRideGraphics.com, we are making many changes to our site. Probably the biggest announcement is we will be opening with a 30% OFF SALE on every graphic design! I don’t know how long the sale will last as we are taking a big cut to pull this off. Maybe a week. As we fast approach our Grand Opening at JoyRideGraphics.com, I wanted to introduce our hostess…Jenny Lynn Smith! Jenny is a partner with our company and will be the hostess of our website, introducing our product lines, guiding you through our site, DJ’ing music on JoyRide Radio and much, much more. I put together a simple little introduction video including some of my favorite pictures of Jenny but you can see many more in our image gallery.
We will also be featuring on YouTube our Favorite Car Scenes from our favorite movies. To kick off this series, I give you the opening Lambo scene from Cannonball Run. If you haven’t seen this movie…it is a fun and funny trip including some major stars from my youth. And of course some very awesome vehicles…and girls.

JoyRide Graphics should NOT BE APPLIED to extremely hot or extremely cold surfaces. The surface should be at least 40F degrees.
The adhesive side of your graphic should remain clean and untouched to allow the adhesive to fully bond with your surface.
Lay your JoyRide Graphic on a flat surface with the wax paper backing up. Carefully and slowly peel the wax paper off at a 45 degree angle, starting at one corner, until it is completely removed from the graphic.
Thoroughly spray the surface with your soap and water solution where applying the graphic.
Position your graphic with the transfer tape still in place on your surface. Slide the graphic into position and align it as you wish. The soap and water solution that you sprayed will allow you to easily slide your graphic into place before the adhesive on the back side of the vinyl has a chance to stick.
Start from the center of your graphic and squeegee upwards. Now go back to the center of the graphic and squeegee down to the bottom. Now go back to the center of the graphic and continue this upward and downward squeegee motion as you work from the center of the graphic to one side or the other. Go back to the center of the graphic and repeat this process as you work toward to opposite end of the graphic. Repeat this process across the entire section of the graphic until all of the soap and water solution has been squeegeed out from under the actual vinyl graphic.
Work out any bubbles in the graphic using your squeegee. Some installers use a pin to poke a hole in larger bubbles and release any air.
Allow the graphic to sit for 20 to 30 minutes before attempting to remove the transfer tape.
Spray the transfer tape with your soap and water solution and let it soak in for 2 to 3 minutes. This will soften the transfer tape and make it easier to remove. Slowly and carefully peel off the transfer tape at a 45 degree angle leaving the actual vinyl graphic on the boat.
If need be, use a standard hair blow dryer to speed up the drying time. Hold the dryer a minimum of 12" from the transfer tape and move the dryer over the entire surface of the section you are working with for 3 to 5 minutes.
JoyRideGraphics.com has changed our Grand Opening to July 15th, 2013. We have been knocking out the posting of graphics and I believe we will have everything live by then.
