From Ebay to automotive stores, there have always been off-the-shelf, stock graphics available for your vehicle. Typically these graphics are a one-size-fits-all decal made from sticker material utilizing a limited number of colors. These mass produced designs often look like some cheap clipart downloaded from the internet. You would order these by the make and model of your car or boat because they are pre-printed, sold by the thousands and never, ever unique. And in my personal opinion...quite boring. The one redeeming value they do have is their price. You could apply these stickers to your vehicle and the cost could be as low as $100.00.
Other companies decided to offer custom Wraps for your car or boat. Amazing graphics, often custom designed and applied to your ride. You could choose most any design style to suite your likes, attitude, etc. and really impress everyone with your tricked out graphics. Only one little problem though. These wraps can cost as much as $5000.00 and require you to use a certified installer or worse yet, transport your vehicle to their location for installation.
JoyRide Graphics has developed a custom design process, a specialty material product and mixed this with high-resolution, high-definition printing to provide something superior to stickers, and something more reasonable than custom wraps. At our company we call these "skins", and our paint-like quality, premium vinyl, clear coated, adhesive backed and thick, durable materials are definitely not stickers!
I like to describe our graphics as "Self-Contained Wraps". Our graphic design process includes creating intricate designs, often at the detail level of professional, custom vehicle wraps, but we then place them within awesome shapes. Instead of covering your entire vehicle with the design, the design is contained within another graphic which serves as a border, and contains the interior art work.
All of our art work, with minor exceptions are Vector Graphics which simply means they can be sized from 1 inch square to 1,000,000 million inches square and the detail, the quality of the art work remains the same. Never blurry, never jagged. This also means that we can size any of our graphics to fit any sized area. So...our graphics fit your boat whether it is 10 feet long or 100 feet long and will look the same. We can even do non-proportional sizing and make our graphics taller or wider than they are shown here, and still look amazing. And the cost? Exactly what you would expect for a product targeting the medium between cheap stickers and custom wraps...right about in the middle.
